Erica Lynn Lacombe is a Professional, Celebrity Makeup Artist, Stylist, Special Effects Artist, Cosmetic Instructor, Writer, and Fitness Consultant, from New York City and Connecticut., currently based out of Los Angeles, California. Fifteen years ago, she began to realize that her artistic ability with painting and drawing could be redirected to a new type of canvas; the human face. Along with her creative talent in hair design, Erica then began an exploration into new ways to make people feel and look their best. With her new brushes in hand, she feels as though she is creating a new masterpiece each time, with the same sense of accomplishment with each person she meets.
“My job is to inspire, in every form of what I do! Whether it be through makeup and hair and showing each person how to feel more beautiful in their own skin without using plastic surgery or other means to change who they are. Through my writing; where I can write about my experiences, or general life and love affairs; all of which have received a large response and I have been able to reach more people, show them that anything is possible, that they are not alone, that they can better themselves, be positive, and keep moving forward. Through my teaching of cosmetics; where I am able to share my knowledge and guide others to reach their creative goals and artistic aspirations. Through my art work and drawing, where I am able to capture a moment or expression. And finally, through fitness where I can help improve someone’s wellbeing. It is a total package scenario! Over all, I am in the business of changing peoples lives; for the better! I believe everyone is beautiful, and that beauty comes from the unique characteristics that make us individuals; being a Makeup Artist isn't about transforming someone into something they are not, it is about emphasizing the characteristics that make them who they are, only better!”
